Hey girl hey! I'm Kaywanda Lamb your instructor and fellow ambitious black girl. I'm on a mission to help ambitious black women level up by becoming bilingual. If that's a goal of yours, you're in the right place.
I'm a certified educator in Texas and have been teaching Spanish for 16 years. I hold a Masters in Spanish Literature, and I'm also a founder and business owner who teaches other career professionals and small business owners Spanish. Many people kept asking me for a course, so I said if I'm to create one, it has to be magical. And, it has to work and it has to be for black women first and then I'll create for others. Why? We are often overlooked and are the hardest working. I want you to have this skill, sis to change your life, open doors, expand your horizons, etc.
Okay, so you know I'm an expert and am ready to help you win. I want you to know this course is designed to help you learn what you need quickly and with practice and community. If you're ready to invest in yourself AND do the work over. 8-10 weeks, you'll be able to hold many conversations with ease. I promise.
Can anyone learn to speak Spanish?
Absolutely.
I've helped thousands of students go from confused to clear and from fearful to speak to confident with their Spanish skills. I know how to teach Spanish so it connects and so that you use it when it matters most.
Anyone who is willing to do the work can learn Spanish. It isn't for everyone. I admit that. If you want easy, no work on your own, and you only want to order food in Spanish, you don't need this course. This course is designed to unlock the language and teach you how to communicate for years to come with what you learn now. You will learn for real, so you can create language on your own. A goal of intermediate learners by ACTFL.
We will learn to order food, but I want you to learn more. So, this course is going from beginner to intermediate in many scenarios that are necessary for you to know if you will be working with native speakers.
